DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania – The African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA) and the Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB) are pleased to announce that Tanzania will host the 21st edition of the African Fine Coffees Conference and Exhibition (AFCC&E) from February 26-28, 2025, in Dar es Salaam. This announcement was officially made yesterday during the event launch at the Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel. This marks Tanzania’s fourth time hosting this prestigious event, following previous editions in 2011, 2016, and 2019.

The AFCC&E, Africa’s largest coffee trade platform, annually attracts over 2,000 regional and international coffee professionals, including producers, traders, roasters, as well as public and private sector officials, and government representatives.

“We are excited to bring the African Fine Coffees Conference and Exhibition back to Tanzania, a country with immense coffee potential. This event not only highlights the exceptional quality of African coffee but also strengthens our commitment to fostering growth and collaboration within the industry across the continent,” says Amir Hamza, Chairman of the Board, AFCA.

This year’s conference, centered around the theme of “Value Regeneration,” promises an impressive lineup of renowned international and regional speakers, an expansive exhibition hall showcasing the latest innovations in the coffee industry, engaging workshops, exclusive B2B cupping sessions, and unique coffee origin trips.

Additionally, the event will feature the Africa Barista Championship and the Regional Taste of Harvest Competition, highlighting the finest coffee talents and products from across the continent.
