4C joins sustainability network ISEAL as a community member

COLOGNE, Germany  4C Services has joined the ISEAL Community, marking a pivotal moment in 4C’s commitment to fostering sustainable practices and transparent and credible supply chains within the coffee sector. Since the inception of the 4C Code in 2023, the multistakeholder approach has been a cornerstone of the continuous improvement of the 4C certification system, a leading sustainability standard for coffee production and processing.

4C Services joins the ISEAL Community

4C aligns itself with ISEAL, a globally recognized network dedicated to advancing sustainability across industries. ISEAL Community Members are sustainability systems and accreditation bodies dedicated to delivering benefits for people and planet.

They are committed to continually improving their systems and impacts through learning and innovation; collaborating with stakeholders and peers; and are transparent and truthful about how their systems work and how they measure their impacts.

Following the approval from the ISEAL Board on November 30, 2023, ISEAL’s Executive Director, Karin Kreider, commented, “I’m delighted to welcome 4C as an ISEAL Community Member. In becoming an ISEAL Community Member, 4C joins a growing number of well-respected sustainability systems that are driving positive social and environmental change across multiple sectors. 4C will be working alongside these distinguished organisations to innovate, collaborate, and lead by example, setting new standards for transparency, credibility, and impact in sustainable coffee practices.
