MILAN – Nescafé Gold Blend Roastery Collection and Nescafé Azera Craft Coffee launch this week giving people the flavour of the artisan coffee they would expect from a coffee shop, all from the comfort of their kitchen. Sophie Demoulin, Marketing Director of Nestlé Beverages UK and Ireland, said: ‘’With people spending more time at home than ever before, we are excited to introduce three new innovative Nescafé products to help people enjoy barista-style coffee from the comfort of their home.

“We know coffee on the go is very popular and one of the things people miss now we can’t go out and about. We think these great new products will give them that same enjoyment.

“Our two new products are the latest in a long list of innovations to bring Nescafé fans the perfect cup.”

Nescafé Gold Blend Roastery Collection is a range of two new premium instant coffees for people looking for a refined, high quality coffee at home.

Crafted by the Nescafé Gold Blend master roasters in Tutbury in Derbyshire, the new collection gives consumers the opportunity to experience the refined taste of expertly roasted coffee from the comfort of their own home.

The new range is available in two blends ‘Dark Roast’ with notes of rich dark chocolate and roasted nut for those that love an intense tasting coffee and ‘Light Roast’ with notes of caramelised honey and toasted biscuit for those that love a smoother profile. Each blend is rich in Arabica and roasted in two batches for a new unrivalled flavour and rich aroma.

Nescafé Azera Craft Coffee is the UK’s first craft coffee in instant format created in partnership with independent Manchester-based coffee roastery, Grindsmith.

Combining the worlds of craft and instant, this pioneering blend was developed with small business, Grindsmith, using a blend of speciality Arabica coffee, including the rare Quindio bean from Colombia.

By working together and combining their expertise, the coffee partners were able to develop an instant blend with all the quality expected from a local coffee shop while supporting a small British roastery.

This rich-tasting instant coffee with notes of cherry and chocolate was described by the Grindsmith team as “the best instant coffee we have ever tasted”.

Nescafé Gold Blend Roastery Collection and Nescafé Azera Craft Coffee are now available in Sainsbury’s with other major retailers to follow later in 2021.

Nestlé continues to strengthen its position as the leader in the coffee category thanks to a programme of innovations and new product developments launching in stores across UK and Ireland in 2021.

Nestlé Beverages kicked off the year with the launch of Nescafé Dolce Gusto Flat White plant-based pods, the first ever plant-based coffee pods in the UK and Ireland.
