MILAN – Next Touch Coffee, the Egro brand’s super-automatic drip coffee machine, has won the iF Design Award 2021 in the “Product” category. Designed in collaboration with the MM Design studio, the Egro Next Touch Coffee stood out from more than 10,000 entries registered for the quality of its design, aesthetics and innovation in terms of coffee delivery.
“This is a prestigious achievement that rewards the synergy between our R&D department and MM Design,” explains Ruggero Ferrari, CEO of the Rancilio Group, “and recognises the distinctive features of Egro products from the point of view of design and technology.”

In the final, the judging panel composed of 98 international experts also chose to reward this machine for the extraordinary design and development of the touchscreen interface, which is intuitive, easy to use also in self-service mode, and offers the user the option of easily customising each drink.

Awarded by iF International Forum Design GmbH, a long-established independent design institution based in Hanover, the iF Design Award is one of the world’s leading international design competitions, rewarding international design excellence in several categories each year.
