CHICAGO, US – NAMA has recently announced the creation of a new online resource to educate members on how they can give back in a way that will leave a lasting legacy for future generations of industry leaders.
The new website, www.vending.org/leavealegacy, is a comprehensive resource for gift planning questions and exploring tax and income benefits of the various kinds of planned gifts, including:
- Trusts and annuities that pay the member an income for life
- Gifts from life insurance policies, retirement plan assets or appreciated property
- Bequests and beneficiary designations
The website also provides tips on establishing a will that ensures that the government does not benefit more than the member’s heirs, as well as a glossary of planned giving terms and a gift illustrator that helps members explore their donation options.
“We are pleased to roll out this new resource for the NAMA membership,” said Foundation Executive Director Lindsey Nelson. “Not only does it offer sound guidance on planning for the future, it provides them with a way to leave a lasting legacy for the next generation, which we know is a priority for many in our industry.”
Founded in 1936, NAMA is the association representing the $42 billion U.S. vending and refreshment services industry. With 1800 member companies – including many of the world’s most recognized brands – NAMA provides advocacy, education and research to its membership.
