MILAN – 2022 is a very special year for us as it marks a significant milestone for Comunicaffe – our 20th anniversary. The start a new year is time to take stock of the 12 months that just passed. On this special occasion, we have decided to bring to the readers of Comunicaffe International a special edition of our weekly Top News, with the most read stories of 2021.

It’s no surprise that COVID-19 ranked highly in our list of most read articles for the year. The pandemic is still affecting the entire supply chain from coffee production to trade and consumption.

The surge in coffee prices, supply and logistics problems, the impact of COVID-related restrictions on out-of-home consumption were among the most popular news topics of 2021.

Made in Italy and the Italian lifestyle were also on top of the list, with all the novelties from Italian coffee roasters and espresso machine manufacturers.
