BANGKOK, Thailand – The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) has just concluded its first episode of Piazza Italiana, entirely focused on Gelato & Coffee. At the event, over 80 professional participants have had the chance to discover directly from the exhibiting companies: products, machines, and technologies related to the production and serving of gelato and coffee.

For the first time in Thailand, they have proudly launched Sammontana, distributed by Easy Best Ingredients, the largest Italian gelato company and leader in the field of the frozen-desserts sector in Italy, Orasi’, distributed by Italasia, Italian plant-based drinks which represents the ideal substitute to dairy ones, and Orsadrinks – ODK, still looking for a distributor, an Italian manufacturing company of beverage supply for the Horeca industry.

The other 10 important exhibitors were: Albero Gelato, Aroma Group, CoffeeWORKS (and La Cimbali), Easy Best Ingredients, Golden Dreams, Illy, LucaMari (and 7 Senses Gelato), Pregel, Segafredo Zanetti, and Tekno-ODP.

The Chamber would like to thank all the participants, visitors, and exhibitors, for having contributed to the success of this edition.

We hope to make this event a yearly unmissable appointment for all the passionate about gelato and coffee, promoting all those Italian excellence/brands/companies in Thailand, defending “Made in Italy” from copycats and other threats.

Last but not least, our token of appreciation goes to our partners: CCIO Bari (Italo-Orientale Chamber of Commerce), and AIG Roma (Associazione Italiana Gelatieri).

Our partnership with those two important institutions aims to promote our activities in Italy, facilitating the entry of new Italian investments in the Kingdom of Thailand and vice versa.

For those who are new to the project: Piazza Italiana is the mini B2B event format of the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce, launched in November 2021 and confirmed for 2022 with 3-theme events, dedicated to the very best of Italian Food and Beverage. Please follow our social media to keep updated with our activities.
