CHICAGO, US – Joann DeNardis, NAMA’s Director of Education/Certification, has announced that the October 6-7 Tech Talks seminar in Las Vegas will be postponed until 2015 to better accommodate the schedules of attendees and sponsors. The next Tech Talks will take place in Atlanta, December 8-9.
“Quite simply, we’ve moved Tech Talks due to the number of NAMA and other industry-related events taking place in the coming weeks. The feedback from prospective attendees and many of our sponsors is that rescheduling would enable more people to participate,” DeNardis said.
“We are committed to providing high-quality education for our members and are working to make this new technology seminar accessible for as many people as possible. That said, we regret any inconvenience this may have caused,” DeNardis continued.
“Tech Talks is designed to meet the needs of vending and micro market operators to address emerging trends and leveraging technology for success. It’s an exciting new event, and was deemed the most sought-after education topic by members in a survey earlier this year,” she said.
While the rescheduled TechTalks will still take place in Las Vegas, the new date for the postponed event is to be determined. Members are encouraged to stay tuned for updates to be distributed through trade and social media, member eblasts and marketing outreach.
“We have had tremendous response to our Tech Talks December 8-9 at The Westin Peachtree in Downtown Atlanta. Register now at www.vending.org/techtalks to ensure availability; the session cost for member operators is $399,” said DeNardis.
