LONDON, UK – During the 132nd (virtual) Session of the International Coffee Council, Members appointed Dr. Massimiliano Fabian of EU-Italy as the new Vice-Chair of the International Coffee Council, as well as Mr Zoltan Agai of the European Commission as Chair of the Finance and Administration Committee (FAC) for coffee year 2021/22.
Massimiliano Fabian, 55-year old, is the Chief Executive Officer of of Demus Spa, a green coffee decaffeination company and source for natural caffeine, based in Trieste, Italy.
In addition to his position with Demus, Fabian is also vice president of Demus Lab – a company dedicated to coffee research, analysis and consulting.
Dr. Fabian has also been an active leader in the international coffee community.
He is a Vice- President of European Coffee Federation (ECF). He was the President of the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE). He is also the Past President of Associazione Caffé Trieste.
Fabian has been involved in the activities of the International Coffee Organization as Advisor and as a member of the Private Sector Consultative Board.
