PRAGUE, Czech Republic – Following on from the successful launch of their “Miil” dairy, “Dacello” processed meat and “Moddia” paper hygiene private labels in the last year, Rohlik is now starting to sell their latest private label offering – “Ubomi” home compostable coffee capsules.
This new range has been developed in response to customer demand for more sustainable and convenient products and provides customers with a choice of top-quality products at competitive prices.
Explore the Ubomi world, explore life
The word UBOMI embodies life and the packaging design with tribal masks serves to remind us of the origins of coffee in general. Customers will also soon be able to try different variations of coffee beans.
Coffee capsules 100% home compostable
Sustainability is a key Rohlik business pillar and the Ubomi brand emphasizes the commitment to environmental protection. Ubomi capsules are made of a natural material derived from 100% biobased cellulose and vegetable oils.
They are sourced from partner Capsul-in-Pro and are the first ever capsule on the market which is TUV certified OK Home Compost, enabling home composting.
“Our customers can add these capsules to their garden compost without any worries about negative impact. Importantly, the coffee in our Ubomi capsules is Rainforest Alliance certified – by purchasing this product, customers also support the Rainforest Alliance and help to promote environmentally friendly and fair agriculture,” comments Petr Chvojka, Group Head of Private label at Rohlik, adding: “At Rohlik, we know the doing good is important to our customers, and it’s equally important to us. We’re working to deliver on our overall commitment to the planet and its people, for generations to come.
