Gruppo Cimbali launches new Hub in Melbourne, Australia

MELBOURNE, Australia – Gruppo Cimbali, one of the leading manufacturers of professional machines for making coffee and milk-based drinks as well as coffee shop equipment, launched their newest Gruppo Cimbali Hub in Melbourne, Australia with an inaugural event. With this event, the company pursues its commitment to support the growth of the coffee industry in the Oceania region.

Situated near Melbourne’s CBD, the commonly dubbed “Coffee Capital of the World” is now home to the Melbourne HUB where visitors can dive into the various brands of the Group. The showroom features separated fully immersive areas from LaCimbali, Faema, Slayer, Casadio to Faemina, and has been designed in such a way that allows each brand to become their own protagonist.

Professional baristas can intimately familiarize themselves with the machines without any visual distractions from other brands and figure out which will most effectively suit their exploratory needs.

The leading models

Providing the perfect accompaniment to these machines, grinder-dosers like La Cimbali Elective are present.

The Slayer brand also has its own room dedicated to its iconic American-made products. Slayer Espresso is a dream machine that is strictly manual and uniquely focused on extraction.

From the Espresso Single Group, a real must for the trendiest coffee lovers, to the Slayer Steam LP, the dream-machine for every barista, that guarantees incredible control and precision through the pressure profile and repeatability functions.

Slayer’s room includes their Espresso V3, a machine that is uncompromisingly manual and completely focused on extraction: the only espresso machine that lets users precisely and consistently control the flow rate of water via patented needle-valve technology.

The Slayer Steam EP is also on display: Slayer’s “entry-level” model, perfect for multi locations and chain cafes who need a push button/volumetric output machine.

The Faema room

Moving to the Faema room, the Faema President GTI takes nostalgia to a new level: a stylistic rebirth of the classic 60’s machine has a modern technological reboot, featuring the patented Smart Boiler and Perfect Grind System.

Their E71E model, on the other hand, steps up coffee extraction game with its independent groups that can manage different coffee varieties and respect their specific temperatures, bringing out the very best in each’s unique flavor profiles.

The Faema E61 Jubile is the descendent of a historical machine that was the first to use a volumetric pump to give water the ideal 9-atmosphere pressure consistently during the whole extraction process – now automatically dosing hot water and including beverage selections to simplify work.

Faemina is Faema’s ticket into the domestic appliances sector and has its own dedicated area: its ergonomic functionalities and easy-to-use interface are designed to open the doors to coffee amateurs and enthusiasts alike.

Faemina’s system is easily customizable and can be set remotely allowing users to set water temperature, pressure, and extraction times, guaranteeing a perfect cup of coffee according to the users’ preferences every time. Faemina is accompanied by the new Faema Touch&Match grinder, ideal for home use.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of clients, distributors, coffee gurus, and a series of roasters including Lavazza, Illy, Grinders Coffee, Toby’s Estate, Padre Coffee, and Pablo & Rusty’s.

The event took place on Thursday, May 19 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm on Level 1, 1 Nelson St., Abbotsford, Melbourne, VIC, Australia 3067.
