ROME, Italy – For the second time in Gruppo Cimbali’s history, Faema is official supplier of the DS Automobiles 79° Open Golf d’Italia. This partnership will feature Faema’s newest addition, the Faemina. Designed by ItalDesign – which has always been synonymous with Made in Italy – Faemina is the ideal espresso machine for both home and small business use.
This designer object, with its elegant style and minimalist, geometric design, will be present inside the hospitality area for the entire duration of the event, both in the refreshment/bistro area and in the sponsors’ lounges, as well as with a booth in the commercial village that is entirely dedicated to the machine, so that all guests can appreciate the superior quality of a café-style espresso or of a filter coffee rather than a brew.

The refreshment areas in the shopping village will feature the Faema President, an iconic espresso machine boasting a timeless design and capable of harmoniously combining vintage and modern styles, resulting in a unique, sophisticated product.
During the event’s opening night on 13 September on the terrace of the Rinascente in Via del Tritone, guests will be able to enjoy an excellent coffee or coffee cocktail made by the group’s bartenders.
Be Faema app
With Faemina, Gruppo Cimbali has entered the home and small business segment, opening a new and direct dialogue with end consumers through the launch of an e-commerce site devoted to the product and of the Be Faema app available on the Play Store and App Store.
The new website – which can be accessed here – allows users to choose from different models and purchase the machine online, along with the Touch&Match grinder and dedicated merchandise. In a few simple steps, the user can then place an order for a Faemina and receive it at their home with free delivery and installation.
The Be Faema App, which from September will include new features for an increasingly user-friendly experience, enables remote setting of Faemina’s operating parameters, creating a simpler, more flexible and personal relationship with the machine.
The app allows users to set their own custom recipes with automatic parameters such as on and off time. Users will also be provided with content created for the Faema global community and Spotify playlists inspired by the brand’s lifestyle. For an espresso or cappuccino “at home just like in a café”.
Faema Art machine
Founded in Milan in 1945, the Faema brand is now part of Gruppo Cimbali, one of the leading manufacturers of professional coffee machines. Synonymous with passion, art, tradition, quality and coffee culture around the world, Faema made history, starting in the 1950s with the lever machine and in the 1960s with the Faema E61 machine, the first to use a positive displacement pump capable of giving the water constant pressure throughout the extraction process.
