BADUNG, Indonesia – The presence of Indonesian specialty coffee at the 3rd Meeting of the Trade, Investment, and Industry Working Group (TIIWG) and Trade, Investment, and Industry Ministerial Meeting (TIIMM) in Nusa Dua, Bali, on 19-23 September 2022 caught the attention of the delegates. A number of Indonesian coffee variants received praise and recommendations.

One of the TIIWG delegates from Spain, Martha Fernandez Ferrero and Alvaro Rodriguez Ruiz, admitted that they really enjoyed the taste of Aceh coffee. “This is my first time trying and choosing coffee from Aceh. It’s delicious and I recommend it,” said Martha. The delegation from Brazil, Luciana Vasques Fanesi, also affirms the deliciousness of Indonesian coffee. “Indonesian coffee is absolutely delicious,” he said.

The Indonesian specialty coffee products served are from the Anomali brand. Anomali was present as the official beverage partner of the 3rd TIIWG and TIIMM Meeting in Bali. Marketing Manager of PT Anomali Coffee, Nadya Eka Putri, explained that the delegates could taste several coffee variants served for free, both single origin and special blends, such as Bali Ulian, Kintamani, Aceh, Toraja, Papua and Bajawa.

Specifically at this TIIWG-TIIMM event, Anomali also presented something unique, namely the exclusive packaging of two coffee variants from Bali, namely Bali Ulian and Bali Kintamani. The packaging of the two coffees is decorated with sketches of Balinese landscapes by Indonesian artists. The packaging of Bali Kintamani coffee has a picture of a terraced rice field and a package of Bali Ulian coffee with a panoramic picture of the beach.

“Because this event is in Bali, we must support the promotion of Bali as well,” said Nadya.

Nadya added that the packaging of this special edition cannot be separated from efforts to promote Indonesia’s natural wealth, especially the island of Bali which is the venue for the TIIWG-TIIMM. While tasting the coffee, the delegates were also given insight into the types of Indonesian coffee beans and the coffee-making process.

The coffee cups also contains a QR code information that delegates can access to find out more about the background of the coffee they are tasting.

“Since the first day many have come and chat with us. So far the comments are good and they are happy with Anomali’s presence here,” concluded Nadya.
