OMAHA, Neb., USA – Scooter’s Coffee, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise experiencing record-breaking growth throughout the country will soon open another location in Jacksonville, Florida. The franchise will be built at 12400 Yellow Bluff Road in the New Berlin neighborhood in the northeastern part of the city.
Co-owners Jennifer Redcloud and Dorie Robinson, doing business as RedRobin Enterprises LLC, signed a single-unit franchise agreement with Scooter’s Coffee in March. Robinson says they couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the process has gone. “Our Scooter’s Coffee pre-development Manager is working with the city’s civil engineers and architects to handle all the necessary permits.” If all goes well, the franchise will open in May 2023.
Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the company specializes in artisan espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, baked-from-scratch pastries and features its signature drink, the Caramelicious®. The company also recently added depth to its profile with a line of organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee and Cold Brew & Cream.
According to the latest market trends compiled by the National Coffee Association, 60 percent of Americans drank coffee in the past day. That’s more than reported drinking tea, juice, soda, or even tap water!
And the number of people who reported buying coffee at a coffee shop or restaurant has risen 20% since January of 2021.
The drive-thru coffee model, already popular in our fast-paced society, has boomed during the pandemic, giving customers a way to get a delicious beverage while staying socially distant.
