BINASCO, Milan (Italy) – In recent months, Cimbali Group, one of the leading manufacturers of professional coffee and milk-based beverage machines and coffee shop equipment, has promoted a training and education programme through the circulation of newsletters edited by the Technical Service Department aimed at sharing skills to make the sector grow, enhancing technicians’ work and their contribution to the entire industry.

The June issue, dedicated to a comparison of different coffee preparations, concludes the first edition of Cimbali Group’s technical newsletter.

Over the past months, many topics were addressed, seeking to analyse the coffee world from different perspectives, starting with the Coffee Technician Wheel, a tool that combines sensory elements and technical parameters, which is crucial to understanding which variables influence espresso extraction.

Participants could learn about aspects such as the historical figures who contributed to modern coffee machines and their hydraulic circuits, the important role of water in coffee extraction and the impact of grinders on the in-cup result.

However, Cimbali Group’s commitment to training for technicians and maintenance engineers goes much further. The Group has set itself the goal of making the training process increasingly developed and cutting-edge.

This ambition requires a constant commitment to updating teaching methods so as to foster participants’ deeper involvement in order to strengthen their learning in a meaningful and lasting manner.

In each issue of the newsletter, readers could see the logo of the TrainME AR web app for training developed by the Technical Services Department, which uses augmented reality to make learning more interactive.

Anyone interested in this new project can visit Cimbali Group’s stand at the 2023 Host exhibition in hall 24, stand L11 L21 P12 P22, where the Technical Service Department team will be on hand to illustrate the potential of the TrainME AR app in the field of virtual learning.

Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technology, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a unique experience, discovering coffee machines in a completely innovative way.
