TME celebrates 40 years of activity
Thanks to its resourcefulness and ability to anticipate the evolution of the global coffee market, TME has established itself as one of the pioneers in the creation of innovative packaging lines for single-serving products. Today, their main mission is to focus all efforts on research and development of technologies that drive innovation in sustainable packaging.
To mark its first 40 years in business and to celebrate this important milestone, the company decided to organise TME Innovation Talks – The future of coffee, an exclusive event dedicated to professionals working within the sector.
A true immersion in the world of coffee, where national and international guests will discuss the emerging trends in production, packaging and new technologies that are shaping the evolving coffee market.
Four speakers will take the stage:
- Michele Monno, Professor of Processing Technologies and Systems at the Department of Mechanics at the Politecnico di Milano, as well as Director of the innovative MUSP (Machine Tools and Production Systems) Lab, will focus on the new challenges and opportunities related to the circular economy in the context of the energy transition;
- Malte Jonsson, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Wipf AG, will present the topic of Wilcovalve as an innovative and compostable solution, with a special focus on the advantages and functionalities of the new coffee valves, which perfectly meet the market’s sustainable needs;
- Michele Zanutto, R&D and Technology Director at Nordmeccanica Spa, will illustrate the evolution of coffee packaging materials in the light of new sustainability requirements;
- Mario Panhotta da Silva, Roasting and New Business Manager at Cooxupé, will guide the audience through the new developments of the Brazilian coffee market.
It will be an important opportunity to share experiences, perspectives and insight concerning the world of coffee, while at the same time celebrating what for TME has always been much more than a job, becoming a sincere passion throughout its first 40 years of business.
Innovation Talks – The future of coffee will be held on Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the TME Italia headquarters in via Sandro Pertini 1/5 in Fidenza (PR).
