INVERMERE, Canada – The mood of our first Kicking Horse Coffee flagship café, recently opened at the company’s Invermere headquarters, is exactly what you would expect. Both refined and accessible, sophisticated and informal; it represents the Lavazza-owned brand’s challenge to consumers to “Wake Up and Kick Ass”.
Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, next to the factory where we roast the finest blends of organic Arabica coffee, the new café is the ideal place to sample the wide range offered by North America’s leading Organic, Fairtrade brand.
When you enter, the aroma of the freshly roasted beans washes over you, promising a special coffee and a welcoming experience.
The décor features wood, metal and sustainable materials, with small touches of individuality like handmade ceramics, organic cotton fabrics and trays that recall the shapes of the surrounding mountains.
On offer are fourteen blends of coffee grown using strictly natural methods, accompanied by a diverse range of food.
«We’ve worked to find creative solutions and think out of the box, for both the coffee and food menus», emphasised Victor Jutras, General Manager of the new store.
With a team of expert baristas who can prepare a whole host of specialities and are happy to share their knowledge about beans and blends with customers, the Kicking Horse Café is set to become a mecca for connoisseurs who want to enjoy great coffee against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
