SCARPERIA, Florence (Italy) – La Marzocco, a leading company in the design, production, sales and marketing of traditional espresso coffee machines, partecipated at The Milan Coffee Festival, that took place from the 2nd to the 4th of December at Superstudio Più, in Via Tortona 27.
La Marzocco had the stand M36, that was divided into a display area, where its specialty coffee equipment was displayed, and another area dedicated to the “coffee games”.

The display area included a section with the products of the Home range, such as the Linea Micra and the new Pico coffee grinder, and a section dedicated to the bar machines, with the new Strada X model.
The area dedicated to the Home range hosted a masterclass onthe preparation of coffee based drinks at home and a tasting of coffee-based cocktails; the first class run from 10 to 12 in the morning, while the second class run from 3 to 5 pm. Both classes run for the whole duration of the festival.
On Saturday, the final for the Zero Waste Latte Art Challenge, sponsored by Oatly, took place, with 8 participants clashing together to decide the new champion; the final took place from 2 to 5pm.
The True Artisan Café Format also made a comeback, giving an opportunity to roasters to prepare and serve their coffee to the public, brewing it on the new Strada X. Italian and international coffee beans were available to try.
Every day of The Milan Coffee Festival, from 12 to 1pm, the Strada X Challenge took place. This time trial consisted in preparing an order made up of a cappuccino, an espresso macchiato, an espresso and a latte macchiato in less than 01 minute, 35 seconds and 34 hundreds of a second, a record set by coffee performer Gianni Cocco.
Moreover, La Marzocco sponsored the Latte Art Live competition with Modbar and the Roasters Village with its Linea Micra and Pico. Roasters from all over Europe were present.
