TORONTO, ONTARIO – SPoT Coffee has provided an update on the build-out of its three new cafés, namely SPoT Orchard Park, NY, SPoT Glens Falls, NY, and SPoT Coral Gables, Florida. The construction of SPoT Orchard Park, located in the heart of the Orchard Park, NY community, is progressing on schedule.
The construction involves interior and exterior renovations of a historic two-story building. In addition, SPoT is working with adjoining property owners and has agreed on demolition and redevelopment of the adjacent property.
This demolition and conversion will enhance the café’s presence in the Village’s “Four Corners” by increasing SPoT Orchard Park’s visibility and allowing for an enlarged patio. Rosch Brothers Inc., an established NY general contractor who has been undertaking numerous high visibility historical and commercial projects in the State of New York since 1922, has been awarded the contract to build-out SPoT Glens Falls, located in scenic Glens Falls, NY.
Furthermore, all necessary building and “Change of Use” permits have been obtained for SPoT Coral Gables, SPoT Coffee’s second licensed café in Florida. The Company’s management is presently receiving final construction bids for this café from selected local general contractors.
Together with its ongoing cafe development program, the Company’s management have intensified their focus on certain marketing initiatives which include a more comprehensive customer loyalty program, updated packaging for its retail coffee, and the introduction of new product lines.
“This is an exciting time in SPoT’s growth,” said SPoT Coffee’s President Anton Ayoub, “Now that the closure of SPoT Park Place in Q2 is behind us, we are moving forward with our original café development program and marketing initiatives.
We are confident that the café development program, the introduction of stronger and more effective marketing initiatives for in-store and retail sales, as well as the development of new product lines will have a positive impact on our Company’s operations and expansion plans.”
