LONDON – UK coffee roaster Kenco have helped stir up support for World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for the past four years. But this year, they’re doing even more to help us support people affected by cancer. For every ‘like’ Kenco receive on their Facebook coffee bean totaliser, they’ll donate £1 to Macmillan.

This is going towards a target of £11,400 – enough money to fund four Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Centre managers for a month.

This is a vital role that provides those living with cancer, and their loved ones, with information, advice and a space to talk about their worries.

So please help create a buzz by liking the totaliser and spreading the word amongst your family, friends and followers. Together we can raise even more money to make sure that no one has to face cancer alone.

About the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event. People across the UK – and sometimes further afield – are asked to hold a coffee morning, where donations on the day are made to Macmillan.

In 2012 115,000 people signed up to coffee morning, raising a record £15 million.

This year the organisers want to raise even more money to help change the lives of people affected by cancer. Find out about how Macmillan helps.

How did it start?

The event started in 1990, when a local fundraising committee decided to hold a coffee morning where people came along to meet and mingle – as they might ordinarily do – but donate the cost of their coffee to Macmillan in the process.

How do I get involved?

To get involved all you need to do is sign up and we’ll send you a lovely Coffee Morning Kit, full of everything you need for a successfull coffee morning. It makes inviting your friends and raising the money really easy.
