MATANE, QC, Canada – Supporting manufacturing businesses contributes to economic development in Quebec’s regions. That is why the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of National Revenue, along with the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, have announced, on behalf of the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for CED, a repayable contribution of $66,000 for the Brûlerie de l’Atlantique.
This CED support has enabled the business to acquire and install a piece of digitally controlled production equipment, an automated roaster, which will contribute to the growth of this innovative SME.
The Brûlerie de l’Atlantique (9229-3349 Québec Inc.) is a micro-roaster of organic certified fair-trade coffee, sourced from growers’ cooperatives in Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Nicaragua and Guatemala, as well as Indonesia and Africa.
