LOS ANGELES, California Angelino’s Coffee announces they have successfully purchased three #1 coffees in the Guatemala Cup of Excellence (COE) Auction. With a total of seven #1 coffees secured over the last five COE auctions, Angelino’s continues to showcase its unwavering pursuit of excellence and dedication to delivering only the finest coffee to its customers. This achievement highlights Angelino’s commitment to sourcing top-quality beans and reinforces their position as a leader in the premium coffee industry.

The Guatemala COE showcased three distinct categories: Washed Exotic, Natural & Honey Exotic, and One of a Kind (OOAK) varietals. Each coffee purchased scored 89.59 or higher, with two earning Presidential Awards. All were rated exceptional by an International Jury after a minimum of five cupping sessions. This year’s COE truly highlighted the remarkable diversity and quality of Guatemalan coffee, making it a thrilling event for coffee lovers everywhere.

La Reforma Y Anexos Farm’s Geisha variety, scoring #1B in the Exotic Washed category, was acquired for $110.30 per pound. Bella Vista Farm’s naturally processed Geisha, which earned the #1B Exotic Natural & Honey designation, was secured for $36.10 per pound. Bella Elizabeth Farm’s washed Borbon, Pache, and Caturra blend was purchased for $19.30/lb and achieved the #1 One of a Kind (OOAK) position. Each of these coffees exemplifies outstanding flavor and quality, setting a high standard for excellence in this year’s auction.
