An ever more vital TUTTOFOOD 2015, with more than 2,500 exhibitors, areas in expansion and new initiatives is ready to start.

TUTTOFOOD, the World Food Show organised by Fiera Milano and scheduled for3 May to 6 May, 2015, is expecting a full house with the overall 180,00 square metres distributed over 10 pavilions (4 more than 2013) fully reserved.

There will be about 2,500 companies from specific industries that will also offer crossover with all sectors in the industry.

In addition, there are to be local associations from all over Italy. With the space fully reserved and a waiting list with dozens of companies on it, this edition is shaping up to be intense and full of innovations.

Shows like TUTTOFOOD pick up on trends and offer previews of them to the market.

Those industries that have chosen to participate in the show attest to this. In fact, one of the industries that is seeing the most vitality in terms of trends with a great number of exhibitors during the various editions of TUTTOFOOD is that of Meat and Salami.

This industry is continuing to see a growing presence this year as well with leading companies like Rovagnati, Beretta, Citterio, Fiorucci andGolfera. The sweets section, Dolce Italia, is shaping up to be an interesting one as well with participation from, among others, Caffarel, Galbusera, G.Cova, Balocco, Corsini Biscotti.

As for those industries considered “traditional” for TUTTOFOOD, many leading companies have confirmed they will also be there. These include Parmareggio, Galbani, Latteria Montello, Latteria Soresina, Parmalat and Zanetti for the Dairy Products section, while for Mixed Products (which takes up three pavilions – double the space of 2013), leading players such as Noberasco, Petti, Gruppo Lo Conte, Saclà, Pedon, Urbani Tartufi, Divella, Olio Dante and Amica Chips will be on hand.

Then there is the Ho.re.ca. industry, which has very much evolved in previous editions, and which will see participation from leading companies like Riso Gallo, Conserve Italia, Galbusera, Illy, Nestlé, (Nestlé Professional, Nespresso, S. Pellegrino), San Benedetto Kimbo, Forst and Sammontana.

There will be an interesting expansion of what’s on offer for this industry thanks to collaboration with Venditalia, making for unique synergy in Europe with the world of vending.

While success and expansion from industries already present at and loyal to TUTTOFOOD were perhaps to be expected, we must also point out that companies from newer industries and with less of a presence in previous editions have also responded positively.

Thus the “Green Food” area has tripled in terms of volume thanks to a dedicated zone that will be rounded out with cooking demonstrations. Key companies from this industry to be on hand include Alce Nero, Riso Viazzo, Demeter andBontà Viva.

Finally, this latest innovation is very important for a country like ours that sees fishing as a traditional resource that still has great significance – the Seafood area will make its debut with companies like Fiorital, Finpesca, La Nef, Riunione and Laberie. There will also be a cooking demonstration space that will host interesting culinary shows.

In terms of visitors to the show, in addition to the 1,200 top hosted buyers – who were carefully selected based on their profiles, allowing for productive meetings to take place right in the stand that will optimise time and make for fruitful contacts – more than 11,000 additional buyers are expected.

Expo Milano 2015, which will open on 1 May and will take place a stone’s throw from the fairgrounds, offers unique opportunities for visibility for the companies and visitors present at the show.

Actually, on 3 May, TUTTOFOOD will be present in the Italy Pavilion at the World’s Fair, with a launch that is to make for a strong relationship that will last for the entire event.

In fact, thanks to collaboration with Expo Milano 2015, exhibitors from our show will have the chance to visit the World’s Fair exclusively in the evenings after TUTTOFOOD closes for the day.

Furthermore, Fiera Milano, will allow those companies that exhibit at TUTTOFOOD, the chance to meet with commercial delegations visiting the World’s Fair over the course of the event via the “Expo Business Matching” programme. These meetings will take place right inside the fairgrounds.

The programme works by selecting the most interesting profiles for those companies that participate in TUTTOFOOD, creating an agenda of targeted meetings that will be focused in on during the show with all possible matches for the six months of Expo Milano 2015.

For professionals it’s not just important to get together for business purposes. It is also important to further one’s knowledge, get up-to-date on the latest trends, share experiences and successes and discover new possible winning strategies.

Thus, in order to increase the “know-how” of visitors to TUTTOFOOD – and as a way to highlight of the companies present – there will be special initiatives dedicated to quality, in partnership with leading organisations.

There will be three interesting contests, for example. Thanks to IPSOS, we will choose the most innovative product. QUALIVITA will help us discover the highest quality certified product while ASSICA will organise a special educational event dedicated to the very best in charcuterie, featuring visiting professionals from that industry.

Furthermore, the TUTTOFOOD Academy is currently coming up with a programme of events in order to round out the experience for visitors with meetings and demonstrations that will offer the latest know-how and very strategic contacts for their businesses.
