WINDSOR, ON, Canada – NEXE Innovations Inc., a compostable and innovative materials company, is pleased to announce a second delivery (three different SKUs) to EKOCUPS (https://ekocups.com/), a high-volume online seller and Amazon retailer. In our view, the continued partnership with EKOCUPS validates our BPI-certified compostable pods and technology and highlights the growing demand for sustainable coffee solutions.

EKOCUPS is a well-known name in the coffee industry, offering premium coffee products. This partnership is a strategic entry into the U.S. market, and we expect it to continue to grow over time.

What differentiates NEXE’s BPI-certified compostable coffee pods?

The NEXE fully compostable, single-use beverage pod has several key competitive features protected by patents, including innovative technology that increases the filter area (U.S. Pat. No. 12,004,678 issued on June 11, 2024), allowing for more volume per pod and increased coffee extraction, which improves taste and richness.

Internal tests show that the NEXE Pod’s total dissolved solids (TDS) are up to 20% greater than other leading coffee pod brands.

The Company believes that, given these key competitive features, it can deliver an unrivaled “pour-over” coffee experience that will help establish it as the go-to choice for premium coffee brands seeking a sustainable solution.

“We are thrilled to see our partnership with EKOCUPS continue to grow as they expand their product offerings with us. This order of additional SKUs is a testament to the strength of our relationship and the increasing demand for our compostable solutions in the US market. It underscores our commitment to solidifying our footprint and delivering exceptional value to customers across Canada and the U.S. ” said Ash Guglani, President of NEXE.
