International Women’s Coffee Alliance and its annual report
by Blanca MarÃa Castro
“Dear IWCA Family,
As we come to the close of 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect, celebrate, and share my deepest gratitude with each of you—our donors, supporters, chapter members, and friends around the world.
This year has been a remarkable journey. Together, we’ve continued to grow, connect, and create real impact across the coffee value chain. From empowering chapter-led projects to advancing leadership, education, and sustainability, the progress we’ve made is a testament to your unwavering belief in our mission and the strength of our global community.
Your contributions—whether through time, resources, or advocacy—have been the driving force behind our accomplishments this year. I am so proud of what we have achieved together and so inspired by the passion and dedication you bring to IWCA.
Looking ahead to 2025, I feel a deep sense of hope and anticipation for what’s to come. We have exciting opportunities before us—new connections to foster, projects to launch, and voices to amplify as we continue our shared work to empower women and strengthen communities in coffee-producing and consuming countries alike.
May this holiday season bring you peace, joy, and rest, surrounded by the people and moments that matter most to you. Thank you for being part of this journey and for believing in the power of women in coffee to create meaningful, lasting change.
Here’s to a new year filled with opportunity, collaboration, and continued progress!”
With heartfelt gratitude and warmest wishes,
