La Marzocco & Taglio at Expo’s Mercato Metropolitano. EXPO 2015, Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life opened its doors on May 1, 2015.
Taglio and La Marzocco will be present through October 31, 2015, at Mercato Metropolitano (www.mercatometropolitano.com), an official off-site EXPO venue (in the proximity of Milan’s Design District and with only 5 minutes on foot to the venue for this year’s Out of the Box).
Expo’s Mercato Metropolitano proposes to be a farmers market dedicated to food AND culture, where the “meaning of small, small producers, small farmers, small craftsmen, is a state of mind and not a measurement”.
The venue, moreover, aims to be a closed and open-aired amphitheatre that will host seminars and symposiums on issues related to agricultural food sustainability as well as theatre, music and cinema. On the 5th of May, Mercato Metropolitano launches its inauguration celebration.
The platform is a perfect match for Taglio, who will set up shop and serve espresso blends on La Marzocco equipment, including the Linea Mini, and single origins at the brew bar.
And La Marzocco is establishing its True Artisan Café with roasters from around the globe taking part from a few days to one full week. Fresh green coffee will be roasted every day. Be part of EXPO 2015, be part of the experience.
