The Barista Camp 2015 will be held from September 23 to 26. This event is organized by the Barista Guild of Europe and is dedicated to all the baristas interested in living an intense training experience, combined with moments of relaxation and leisure.
After being held in Athens, this year’s event will be hosted in Riccione at the Hotel Corallo, a four-star hotel that offers any kind of comfort.
Awaiting the participants is a full schedule, with courses based on the standards of the Coffee Diploma System of the Scae, with different study paths and the ability to obtain a certification.
There will also be other courses, insights and coffee cupping. Where the quality of espresso and brewing is put first, pulyCAFF (www.pulycaff.com) is always there, in this case as the official sponsor of the event, with its cleaning products for espresso machines, grinders and coffee brewing equipment.
pulyCAFF takes part in the initiative, a supplier of cleaning products for espresso machines, coffee grinders and various equipment. For the occasion, 250 aprons with its logo, alongside that of the Barista Guild of Europe, were made and a complete set of cleaning products was provided, which at all times ensures the hygiene and proper functioning of machines and equipment with ease and safety, protecting the quality of the final product.
“It is a very important event and we are proud to have been selected as its official sponsor – says Gianfranco Carubelli, CEO and person in charge of quality and safety -. The validity of our NSF – National Sanitation Foundation – certified products, respectful of the operators and the environment, allows us to have an excellent relationship with the demanding public consisting of the bartenders who belong to the Scae, who specially care for the maintenance of their equipment, in order to achieve a high quality final product”.
Choose from five paths
There are five training opportunities available to participants and they bear the names of the Ninja Turtles: Raphael (Barista Foundation and Sensory Foundation), Michelangelo (Green Foundation and Sensory Foundation), Leonardo (Barista Intermediate), Donatello (Brewing Intermediate) and Splinter (Sensory Intermediate).
There are also fun and leisure initiatives, especially in the evening, while during the day, between one course and the other, there are many thematic insights, held by distinguished guests from the world of coffee, ranging from the importance of the grind and water, to the suggestions on what to do when opening a bar.
An unmissable experience that offers a chance for individual and professional growth, with opportunities for discussion and in-depth knowledge of the coffee world, which is increasingly innovative.
