HAMBURG (Germany) – When this year’s host trade fair opens its doors on 18th October, the Hemro-Group, pioneer in coffee grinding solutions, with its brands Mahlkönig, Ditting and Anfim, will again be exhibiting at the leading international trade fair for hotel and catering.
Barista champions share their knowledge In addition to the wide range of coffee grinding solutions, this year visitors to the trade fair also can enjoy another highlight: Two of the big names on the international barista scene will be present at the Hemro stand in hall 11 and will share their knowledge about coffee grinding and preparation.
Matthew Perger, 2012 World Brewers Cup Champion and runner-up at this year’s WBC in Melbourne, gained special attention at the world championship when he used an EK 43 – a classic shop grinder – for his performance. He will reveal exactly how he was able to achieve top results with this on Saturday 19th October from 11am to 2pm at the host.
One day later, on Sunday 20th October, the reigning World Barista Champion Pete Licata will present his champion grinder, the K30 Twin, and divulge the secrets and subtleties of this classic grinder.
Carten Reinke, Chief Marketing and Sales Office of the Hemro-Group: “For lovers of the perfect coffee these are two unmissable dates that you have to mark in your calendar.”
Port-a-filter detection and automatic grind setting In addition to these events, the Hemro-Group will also be underlining its role as the market leader for professional coffee grinding in Milan and present visitors with the latest developments and sophisticated, user-friendly innovations from the brands Mahlkönig, Ditting and Anfim.
For example there will be a new addition to the K30 family which in the future will offer innovative and unique port-a-filter detection, making it unnecessary to choose the portion size.
The latest development from Ditting is an 804 with an interactive display, which is used as a self-service shop grinder and always guarantees customers the best grinding results for all types of coffee.
This is possible thanks to the barcode scanner and the elaborate engineering skill of the Swiss company: the customer simply scans the barcode of the coffee bag and the grinder automatically presets the grind degree to achieve the perfect grinding. Then the customer simply selects the type of preparation and the grinding process begins.
Initiating new ideas With the products of Mahlkönig, Ditting and Anfim, the HEMRO-Group is able, like no other worldwide manufacturer, to be a partner and initiator for the highest possible grinding standards.
As a premium supplier of coffee grinders “Made in Germany, Switzerland and Italy”, the members of the HEMRO-Group unite the idea of grind on demand with pioneering engineering expertise in built-in grinders.
Find out about the latest developments and visit the Hemro-Group on 18th – 22nd October 2013 at stand T40/U39, hall 11 at the host in Milan
