HAMBURG (Germany) – The INTERNORGA Newcomers’ Area will give any company the ideal platform to start marketing its products for the out-of-home sector and to present them to a broad trade audience for the first time.

It enables companies can try out their ideas and concepts and find out what acceptance they get from the target group. The Newcomers’ Area is specially designed and arranged for companies that want to develop new target groups and fields of business, and which have never previously exhibited at INTERNORGA.

“The Newcomers’ Area has space for about 20 companies, giving them a springboard to the out-of-home market. They can see how the trade responds to their products, and they can get vital leads for market launch,” says Claudia Johannsen, Project Director INTERNORGA.

Applications can now be submitted for the Newcomers’ Area Companies can now enter their product or concept for the Newcomers’ Area, at www.internorga.com, for presentation at INTERNORGA from 14 to 19 March 2014.

Successful entry to the out-of-home market Every year, this opportunity is taken by companies from Germany and abroad to present their innovations, concepts and services for hotels and restaurants at this forum for new ideas.

The subjects range from technical innovations to new snacks and beverage creations, HR services and shopfitting concepts. A maximum of two presentations is set for companies exhibiting at the Newcomers’ Area.

Following success in this area, many companies go on to become regular exhibitors at INTERNORGA in subsequent years – for example, Smartwurst with their Wursttoaster (sausage toaster), Contigua with 10stamps (mobile loyalty card system for Smartphones), Orderbird AG with their iPad cash register system for restaurants, and Kids-Stuff with high-quality online games for children.

About INTERNORGA  INTERNORGA has been the leading European trade fair for hotels, restaurants, institutional catering, bakery and confectionery ever since 1921. It is held in March every year, with more than 1,200 exhibitors from Germany and abroad displaying their innovations, trends and complete solutions for the whole of the out-of-home market. In addition to the exhibitors’ presentations, there is a big programme of supporting events, international conferences, award presentations, and innovative side-event concepts. INTERNORGA is traditionally held at the Hamburg Fair site, at the heart of Hamburg. Admission is subject to proof of trade visitor status. The admission charge is EUR 29.50 (or EUR 38 for a 2-day ticket); concessionary rate for trainees in the trade EUR 16.
