RIMINI, Italy – At its 37th edition, SIGEP (23-27 January 2016) is acknowledged as the world’s most important expo in the artisan gelato sector, a primary European showcase for artisan Italian confectionery and is also strengthening its position in the artisan bakery field.

On show, all the very latest in raw materials, basic products, plant, machinery, furnishing and fittings for the artisan gelato, pastry shops, cafés and artisan bakeries. Thematic sections, international contests and championships, demos, courses and updating seminars and expos all contribute to making it a unique spectacular event.

Reaching Rimini Fiera and staying in the surrounding area is easier with the services organized for trade members and the public at SIGEP.

► ENTRANCE TO THE EXPO: admission to SIGEP 2016 is via SOUTH, EAST and WEST entrances, which, as of this year, as connected by means of a free shuttle service in the expo centre.
► HOURS: 9:30 am . 6:00 pm; last day 9:30 am . 5:00 pm and after 3:00 pm ONLY with online tickets and the following badges/cards: Press, VIP, Trade, Agents, Distributors, Demonstrators, Agents or other badges with bar codes. Admission will not be possible with paper tickets, or by purchasing full-price tickets.
►TICKETS: Full-price tickets cost 55 euros for whoever does not have a regular invitation ticket or reduced rate ticket. Reduced-rate tickets can be purchased directly on the Web site www.sigep.it at a cost of € 49. Online registration is compulsory and enables to print out ticket without going to the ticket counters.
NB1: Paper invitations printed out from the Web site must also be kept during the entire visit to SIGEP. In fact, their bar codes can be read on the stands of exhibitors who have requested the badge scanner service.
NB2: Among those who register correctly, various small workshop utensils and subscriptions to trade magazines will be offered as prizes.
►SCHOOLS Paid admission is permitted to training school students on their last or second last year only on 26th and 27th January 2016. Admission is for a limited number of students and reserved for schools that have booked.
►DISABLED VISITORS Rimini Fiera offers disabled visitors easy access and trouble-free use of the expo centre, putting the following facilities at their disposal: reserved parking spaces, entrances easily reached via ramps, doors with push plates, single-level halls all on one level and directly interconnected, spacious food service points that allow freedom of movement, suitably equipped toilets, conference rooms on the first floor all accessible via elevator, railway station on the Milan – Bari line accessible via elevator, wheelchair available at the first aid post at the south entrance.
►SPECIAL SIGEP 2010 TRAINS: SIGEP can be reached directly, thanks to the trains that stop every day at the on-site railway station at the expo centre, just 50 yards from the expo´s south entrance; 20% or 30% discounts are available for exhibitors, buyers and visitors using Freccia Rossa trains to and from Rimini, from two days before the beginning of SIGEP to the day after it ends. For Carta Freccia holders, special 2×1 conditions for admission to the individual expos.
►ALL THE INFO ON ROAD ROUTES, CAR HIRE & TAXIS: the expo centre is connected to the A14 (Bologna-Bari-Taranto) motorway. The expo centre is 6 km from the Rimini Nord and 7 km from Rimini Sud exits. The shortest route by car can be calculated on the Web site www.sigep.it . Special car hire rates are available from AVIS to reach or leave Rimini Fiera: +39 199100133; taxis can be called at +39 0541 50020.
►CAR PARKS:
Rimini expo centre has parking space for 11,000 cars. Visitor car park rates: cars 14 euros, motorcycles up to 150cc 4 euros, motorhomes 20 euros, buses 30 euros).
►PUBLIC TRANSPORT Rimini Expo Centre is well serviced by regular scheduled bus routes. Bus N° 9 from Rimini railway station and two other dedicated bus routes: Bus N° leaving from San Mauro Mare and N° 10 leaving from Miramare.
