The 2016 event will build upon the overwhelming success of the 2015 inaugural Fly-In and add a new venue, features and speakers.
We expect that you will assist in propelling this impactful event into an even greater experience in 2016.We hope to increase attendance over and above the 200 that attended in 2015 and to increase the number of states represented from 36 to 42.
We urge you to to view this short video on the upcoming event which highlights the new venue in downtown Washington, DC and the importance of your participation.
The 2016 Fly-In will have many new and exciting features, including expanded networking opportunities and high-level political analysts providing perspective on the 2016 Presidential and Congressional elections. It is important that the industry steps up to the plate and attends this event.
As you may remember, there is no registration or participation fee for this event. The only out of pocket costs for you to attend is hotel and travel.
Everyone is invited and no previous experience with advocacy efforts or meeting with elected officials is needed. The latest in education and training will be provided to ensure that everyone is comfortable before meeting with their legislators.
The 2016 event is designed to bring the refreshment services industry to Washington to meet with legislators and stress the importance of the industry in each congressional district.
The goal is to make our industry’s presence known on Capitol Hill, educate Members of Congress about the industry through industry leaders’ first-hand stories about their impact within each congressional district, and to provide networking opportunities throughout the event.
