MILAN – Arabica coffee futures in New York surged to new highs on Friday boosted by the recovery in the Brazilian real and bullish technical behavior. The most active contract for May delivery gained 1.75 cents closing at 134.30 cents, the highest level since Oct. 14, 2015. Over the week, Arabica Coffee futures gained 8.50 cents, or 6.75%.
