NEW YORK, U.S. – As announced in March 2014, effective with the May 2016 expiration the ICE Futures US is revising the origin differentials for delivery of coffee from Colombia and Brazil on the Coffee āCā Futures Contract.
From May 2016 and forward, the delivery differential for Colombia will be 400 points (4 cents per pound) premium, and the delivery differential for Brazil will be 600 points (6 cents per pound) discount to par.
This change to the Colombia and Brazil delivery differentials is being made via amendments to Schedule C-2 of Coffee āCā Rules Appendix IV. The complete Coffee āCā futures Rules can be found online at: https://www.theice.com/publicdocs/rulebooks/futures_us/8_Coffee.pdf.
Prior to implementation of the amendments to Schedule C-2 the differential for Colombia is 200 points (2 cents per pound) premium and the differential for Brazil is 900 points (9 cents per pound) discount to par.
