TREVISO (Northern Italy) – The stand of Astoria Macchine per Caffè (F22 – G21) at the World of Coffee event taking place in Dublin from 23rd to 25th June 2016, will certainly not go unnoticed. Italy’s leading producer of professional coffee machines will bring a rich programme of events and special guests to the fair with the aim of promoting and fostering the culture of speciality coffee.
Conceived on a grand scale, the company’s presence will include numerous demonstrations and coffee-tasting sessionsdevised and presented in collaboration with Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, winner of the World Coffee in Good SpiritsChampionship 2016 in Shanghai, and five Irish micro roasters.
The Greek champion will be Astoria’s official barista for three days, regaling guests with skilfully-prepared coffee thanks to the advanced technology of the multi-boiler Plus4You TS. In addition, from 12-2pm Michalis Dimitrakopoulos will demonstrate his speciality, Coffee In Good Spirits, while from 4-5pm the host of the exclusive Coffee Spirits Party will bring each day to a close on the Astoria stand.
A dedicated space will be equipped with a Plus4Champions machine and two grinders. Each day, from 10.30am until 12pm, and from 2.30pm until 4pm (morning session only on Saturday), visitors will have the chance to taste different coffee varieties from local roasters Badger and Dodo, Baobab, Silverskin, The Happy Pear and Full Circle Coffee Roasters.
While the Plus4You TS and Plus4Champions machines – the undisputed queens of efficiency and energy saving – are being showcased in the various events taking place, in a more commercial vein, Astoria will have all its top-range models on display for visitors to World of Coffee to see: the Sabrina SAE/2 in white; the HYbrid, also in white; theRapallo; and, in red, the Greta.
