MILAN – Colombia’s coffee production fell 7 percent in June to 1,158,000 60-kg bags reflecting the effects of El Nino event, reports the National Federation of Coffee Growers. However, coffee output for the first half of 2016 was still 5 percent higher on year at 6,540,000 bags.
During the first nine months of coffee year 2015/16, production rose by 12 percent to 10,684,000 bags.
