In McCann Worldgroup’s “Change Nothing,”, George Clooney embark on a rough night as he looks to protect his precious coffee. In the 30-second broadcast spot, Clooney takes a sip of a Nespresso at a “Tasting Area” the brand appears to have set up at some sort of event in London.
A woman, also enjoying a cup of the Nespresso, approaches the actor and says with a wink, “Perfect, no?” to which he replies that he wouldn’t change a thing.
Sadly for him, she is the wife of the ‘boss’. And so ensues an eventful evening, courtesy of the ‘boss’, played by ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘Deadwood’ star, Ian McShane, which sees Clooney take a trip through the backstreets of London.
When we next see Clooney, he’s enjoying the beverage in a much safer environment, as he lets the audience know that he ‘wouldn’t change a thing’ about his Nespresso experience.
The fully integrated campaign – created with McCann Worldgroup – kicked off with a teaser phase earlier this month where consumers were invited to guess what fate awaited George Clooney.
The full TV advertising campaign from Nespresso entitled Change Nothing, featuring George Clooney, debuted worldwide (excluding US and Canada) beginning 25 September.
