LONDON, UK – World coffee exports amounted to 8.64 million bags in June 2013, compared with 9.56 million in June 2012. Exports in the first 9 months of coffee year 2012/13 (Oct/12 to Jun/13) have increased by 3.4% to 84.31 million bags compared to 81.51 million bags in the same period in the last coffee year.
In the twelve months ending June 2013, exports of Arabica totalled 68.54 million bags compared to 64.67 million bags last year; whereas Robusta exports amounted to 43.84 million bags compared to 40.13 million bags.
