MILAN – Vietnam is likely to ship 130,000 tons (2.167 million 60 kg bags) of coffee beans in October 2016, the government said on Friday. This would represent a 47.7% increase over the same month of 2015.
Traders had forecast between 70,000 to 100,000 tons for the first month of 2016/17 coffee year.
