LONDON, UK – According to ICO’s trade statistics, world coffee exports fell 1.9% in October to 9.131 million bags from 9.309 million in the equivalent month of 2015. Arabica shipments rose 4.7% to 6.109 million bags, while Robusta exports were down 12.9% to about 3 million bags.
All Arabica categories recorded a year-on-year growth. Exports of Colombian Milds were up 12%, followed by Brazilian Naturals (+3.2%) and Colombian Milds (+1.3%).
