LONDON – The Executive Director, Mr José Sette, made a presentation during the Coffee Summit, organized by the Brazilian coffee exporters association (CeCafé), which took place on 9 June 2017 in São Paulo.
In his presentation, which was part of a panel on ‘Challenges to Supply’, the Executive Director presented an overview of the trends and dynamics in the world coffee sector over the last twenty years, with emphasis on trade flows.
Among the developments highlighted in the presentation were the growth in exports by exporting countries to other exporting countries and the promising potential for coffee consumption in Southeast and East Asia.
