RIMINI, Italy – Rancilio Group will be taking part in SIGEP 2018, the trade fair event run by the Italian Exhibition Group, to be held in Rimini from 20 to 24 January.
Events, new product previews, networking, focus on the latest trends and numerous professional training opportunities are the main ingredients of a great exhibition dedicated to coffee and confectionery, which is all set to open the gates of its 39th edition.
An edition that is more international than ever, designed to facilitate contacts between exhibitors, buyers and the most important players of small-scale crafted confectionery, also thanks to the remodelled business meeting platform and the Top Buyer from Five Continents project.
SIGEP 2018 will also host the finals of the Italian Baristas Championship (CIBC), acknowledged by the international circuit of the WCE (World Coffee Events) and promoted by SCA (Specialty Coffee Association).
In its role as a partner of the contest, Rancilio will be the official supplier of all the coffee machines used in the competitive events, with three Rancilio Classe 11 Xcelsius (PICTURE) on stage and another two for contestants to practise on.
The Rancilio Group’s “Coffee House” will be displaying the entire product range of professional coffee machines branded Rancilio, from its top of the line Classe 11, fitted with Xcelsius technology for Temperature Profiling, to the Classe 9, Classe 7 and Classe 5 models.
An entire area of the stand will be given over to the fully automatic models of the Egro brand, showcasing the latest novelties, the Egro NEXT and the Egro BYO with integrated Samsung tablet.
Visitors may interact with the fully automatic Egro machines and experience the intuitive simplicity of the Android touch screen interface, the Cold Milk Foam system for preparing refined coffee-based cool drinks and the CONNECT telemetry system successfully launched at the Microsoft exhibition in Leipzig.
Along with its product range, Rancilio Group will also be running its “Extraction Lab”, where visitors and coffee roasters will have a chance to learn the secrets of coffee extraction, assisted by the Rancilio Coffee Competence team captained by Carles Gonzalez.
This is a precious opportunity to taste some fine coffee blends and try out various extraction systems in the company of trade experts.
