Tea-drinking has been linked with lowering the risk of developing glaucoma, a serious eye condition that can lead to blindness.
In a study released Thursday in the British Journal of Ophthalmology, researchers found a strong link between people drinking hot tea daily and lower odds of developing glaucoma.
Glaucoma is a leading cause of vision loss and currently affects 57.5 million people, a figure expected to rise to 65.5 million by 2020.
