RIMINI, Italy – Filicori Zecchini, the almost one hundred year old Bolognese roasting company, was once again one of the main exhibitors at the 39th Sigep, Rimini, where they publicized the opening of their fourth franchise in New York and presented two new single origin coffees.

The company is proud to announce the fourth franchised location in New York, 45th & Madison, the seventh in the United States. The new location is an exclusive and refined design made in Italy, a heavenly space where you may taste all kinds of coffee extractions (espresso, cold brew, Aeropress, French Press, and V60) as well as numerous recipes of creative coffee and espresso drinks.

This location also features a classic Italian specialty grocery, offering Filicori Zecchini coffee blends, tea references from the best plantations in China, Japan, India and Sri Lanka and a curated selection of Italian specialty chocolates.

Filicori Zecchini also showed two single origin coffees, new to the company’s line of in-house roasted coffees:

Filicori Zecchini Ethiopia

A coffee cherishing a precious, ancient aroma; a journey to the origins of taste. According to legend, the region of Sidamo, in the South of Ethiopia, is the place that gave birth to the first coffee plant ever. Filicori Zecchini Ethiopia is a refined single origin coffee grown in small plantations, not bigger than two and a half acres. Cultivated with extraordinary care and attention, it stands out for its rich, unique aroma.

Full-bodied, with a slight acidity and a smooth taste with hints of spices, wine and chocolate. A floral aroma with notes of citrus fruits, as is typical of the coffee varieties cultivated in the Sidamo region.

Filicori Zecchini Messico

From Chiapas highlands, a strong, unforgettable coffee. A high-quality coffee made with select beans of the purest Mexican Arabica, cultivated by small producers of the Jaltenango/Villa Corzo regions in Chiapas, at over 3,000 feet above sea level, using artisanal methods for the desiccation and fermentation of the beans.

Filicori Zecchini Mexico is a precious single origin cherishing all the distinctiveness of the Bourbon and Tipica varieties of Arabica, combined with the complex, intense taste of a coffee grown at high altitudes. Medium-bodied, with a high level of acidity, a balanced taste and a prominent note of hazelnuts.
