MILAN — Through its subsidiary HMSHost International, Autogrill Group is bringing the menu of Pret A Manger with freshly prepared food and organic coffees to Utrecht Train Station in The Netherlands: the official opening was Monday, 19th March.
Pret’s classic menu of handmade sandwiches, salads, wraps, baguettes, toasties, hot pots and sweet treats will be available to enjoy alongside organic hot drinks, juices and smoothies.
In addiction of Pret’s classic offer, the store will include locally sourced meats, brioche buns, fruits and juices, also combining Pret classics with some new items created especially for Utrecht, such as a Smoked Salmon & Egg Sandwich and salads.
To be ready to manage the new public of The Netherlands, for the past months the operational team has been trained in London to experience and take a deep dive into the Pret A Manger standards.
“We’re thrilled to open our first shop in The Netherlands at Utrecht Train Station. Our teams have been training in Pret shops around the world and they are excited to welcome customers into the new shop. We’re looking forward to introduce a variety of Dutch ingredients to our menu for the first time,” said Michael Haley, Partnerships Director at Pret.
“The UK brand is an enrichment for us and our guests. Pret and Autogrill Group share the same vision of the business in terms of a sustainable approach, food quality, freshness and innovation,” addedd Walter Seib, CEO HMSHost International.
