TURNHOUT, Belgium – Miko N.V., the Euronext-listed specialist in coffee service and plastic packaging, announced today the appointment of Mrs. Inge Bruynooghe as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Inge Bruynooghe, 45, literally grew up among coffee beans. Her father was, in fact, the owner of the coffee roaster which operated in West Flanders under the well-known Bruynooghe brand name. This brand still has a strong presence in the region and has been part of Miko since the late 1990s.
Inge graduated at KU Leuven in Belgium with a degree in business engineering and obtained an MBA from Cornell University in the US.
During her professional career, she has occupied several senior management positions at Philips, some of which involved international operations, such as in China, the Netherlands and Belgium. Her most recent position was Managing Director Philips Lighting Belgium in Turnhout, Belgium.
In addition, Inge is currently a member of the Board of Directors of “Flanders Make”, which is a strategic research centre for the manufacturing industry, as well as of “Open Manufacturing Campus” in Turnhout.
Miko N.V. would like to thank Mrs. Bruynooghe for her willingness to join the Board of Directors and wishes her every success.
