MINTO, Australia — La Casa del Caffe has supplemented its organic coffee line, Seasonal Organics, with the introduction of a commercially viable three bean blend. Dedicated to providing an exceptional taste experience, the new Seasonal Organics 3 Bean Blend will accompany the existing limited edition, seasonally harvested, single origins.

La Casa del Caffe has been roasting coffee in Sydney for 35 years.  A family owned and operated business, la Casa sources its coffees from sustainable and organic family farms that share the same philosophy of eco-friendly coffee.

Seasonal Organics is roasted by la Casa del Caffe at their roastery in Minto in Sydney’s south west.  “As a premium coffee roaster we have always purchased coffee in this manner, but now we want to bring to our food service clients a commercial blend that is organic, sustainable and consistent in taste and quality.” said Nicole Kennedy of la Casa del Caffe.

“We enjoyed developing the blend, our team cupped and brewed until we got the recipe just right and to ensure the blend is a fitting representation of the coffee that the farmers work so hard to grow.” she concluded.

The final outcome is a blend of 100% Organic Arabica beans from Mexico Organic Chiapas, Colombia Fairtrade Organic and PNG Kokoda Organic.

Cupping Notes:

  • Roast: Medium
  • Certifications: NASAA Organic Certified
  • Growing Conditions: Mostly Shade grown, hand picked and sun dried
  • Body: Full-bodied, smooth and well balanced
  • Description: Cocoa, nutty with sweet delicate fruit
  • Brew Methods: espresso, great with milk coffees (cappuccino, latte, flat white), makes a flavoursome filter and plunger.

Packaged in natural kraft coffee bags with the Seasonal Organics label, it is available in 1kg and 250g packs at $30 per kg.  Seasonal Organics blend is available to wholesale customers coupled with la Casa del Caffe’s full service solution  including delivery, equipment, maintenance and training. It is also available online at lacasadelcaffe.com.au

The Seasonal Organics design concept represents the four elements of nature: air, water, earth and fire.  Together these elements evoke a sense of growth from its coffee origin – the earth is stable and reliable; air

In additional to Seasonal Organics, la Casa del Caffe roasts a number of premium coffees under the la Casa del Caffe line. These are:

  • La Casa Blend, is balanced, sweet and mild acidity, medium body with smooth consistency texture and density. The flavour is hazelnut with bittersweet chocolate finish and cherry notes.
  • Tazza D’oro, is a full flavoured Italian style espresso coffee.
