CHICAGO – NAMA’s fourth Micro Market Seminar, in its new Thursday-Friday format, will be held January 23-24, 2014 in Las Vegas, at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. NAMA already conducted Micro Market Seminars in Chicago, Philadelphia and North Carolina. Next week’s session will have the highest attendance of the four.

“We are pleased with the interest in this seminar and more than 60 attendees have registered,” said NAMA’s director of education/certification Joann DeNardis. “However, it’s not too late to join them!”

The seminar promises to be two days packed with business-critical operations know-how from leading market experts. Attendees will benefit from NAMA’s legendary networking and will also have access to top suppliers, including face time during the table-top showcase. NAMA executive vice president and COO Dan Mathews will present about the latest regulatory activity affecting micro markets.

The seminar features industry presenters who deliver on all areas of micro market operations. The leading four micro market equipment manufacturers, 365 Retail Markets, Avanti Markets, Breakroom Provisions and Microtronic US, are sponsors and participants in the seminar, and will share the features and benefits of their systems.

Networking opportunities provide one on one discussion with micro market and product suppliers.

“This seminar is very close to selling out,” DeNardis said. “If you’ve considered attending, now is the time to register.” Online registration closes on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

DeNardis thanked the power sponsors of the four seminars: AdvancePierre Foods, The Hershey Company, Jack Link’s Beef Jerky and Mondelez International. The Las Vegas seminar is sponsored by Kraft, McKee, The Schwan Food Company and Vistar. DeNardis also thanked G&J Marketing and Sales for their support.

Founded in 1936, NAMA is the association representing the $42 billion U.S. vending and refreshment service industry.

With more than 1800 member companies – including many of the world’s most recognized brands – NAMA provides advocacy, education and research for its membership.
