OZZANO DELL’EMILIA, Italy — For its constant commitment in favour of gender equality and against discrimination, IMA has won first prize in the Global Equality & Diversity (Ged) Award 2018 with “Breaking the ceiling glass”, a training and professional development programme for female employees, aimed at increasing the presence of women in formal roles of responsibility.
The prize was awarded on 6 December in Reggio Emilia by “Responsible Innovators” of the Emilia-Romagna Region, with the intention of recognising those companies, associations and local authorities that are investing in innovation, youth, culture and education, inclusion and overcoming gender stereotypes.
Gender equality is a daily commitment for IMA: to ensure equal opportunities, equal values, equal treatment and equal remuneration with the aim of enhancing all of the women and men who work for the company.
