PARABIAGO, Italy — Rancilio Specialty will be taking part in the forthcoming Vienna Coffee Festival, scheduled to run in the Austrian capital from 11 to 13 January. Baristas, interested onlookers and coffee lovers will gather on the premises of the Ottakringer Brewery for three days’ festivities.
The event will host the finals of the Championships promoted by SCA and a brightly coloured Roaster Village which, especially for the occasion, will be sponsored by Rancilio Specialty and will bring together Austria’s best micro roasters.
This encounter between excellent raw materials and the avant-garde extraction technology of RS1 promises to yield some unforgettable coffee tasting experiences, likely to redefine the concept of in-cup quality.
Those visitors wishing to learn more about Temperature Profiling may take part in the Extraction Lab sessions to be held on the Rancilio Speciality stand, enabling them to discover how temperature variations in the extraction phase can alter the in-cup flavour of each coffee.
All of this will take place in the company of two outstanding guests: Junior Vargas, best barista of Austria 2018, and Ali Vogel, who came second last year in the Latte Art category of the SCA Championships.
