VIBY, Denmark – Yesterday, Arla’s Board of Representatives elected the members of Arla Foods’ Board of Directors for the coming two years. Four new members joined the Board of Directors. The Chairman and the Vice Chairman were re-elected.
The election took place at Arla’s Board of Representatives meeting in Copenhagen. This year, four new members joined the Board of Directors 2019-2021. Arla’s Board of Directors consists of 15 farmer owners, who are elected by the Board of Representatives.
Arla employees are represented on the Board by three members, who are elected by Arla’s European Works Council.
The Danish members elected two new Board members: Jørn Kjær Madsen and René Lund Hansen, who are replacing Viggo Bloch and Torben Myrup.
Also, the Central European members elected two new Board members: Walter Lausen and Marcel Goffinet, who are replacing Manfred Sievers and Markus Hübers.
